HANDLE INTRODUCTORY ACTIVITIES COACHES ( Last Updated 07/06/2008) |
IThe HANDLE Introductory Activities Coach has taken part in an additional six hours of training that was offered to people who had completed the Introductory Course, “Get a HANDLE on Neurodevelopmental Differences.” It was available to those who wished to be able to safely and more effectively use the activities learned in that course with their own families or with others in their work environment. It offered the participants the opportunity to learn to coach each activity, and to demonstrate proficiency in its application and variations. Teachers and therapists who become Certified HANDLE Activity Coaches may coach students in their classroom or private therapy settings with a group or with individuals. Upon completion of the Activity Coach module and demonstration of proficiency in coaching the activities, the participants received certification as a HANDLE® Introductory Activities Coach.
